So hello blog, from Steffie and Annie!!
We both LOVE this city. Steffie lived here while going to an acting conservatory and I spent a ton of amazing times here, single, a blink away from attending a local Law School. How different our lives would have been but how fun to return, stay with our other rad sister, and do a few jazz squares.
We all still wear bad wife beaters to bed, exchange make-up, and drink too much coffee. Steffie still does bad ballet in the kitchen, while I do bad character voices. Ahh, now she's singing a song from 'Gypsy.' New York has ruined her.
She also turned me on to this.
A super inspiring group of actors in New York that got fed up with the system and did something on their own. (That's a poorly written sentence but you get the idea).
There's a quote in this show: 'I'd rather be 9 people's favorite thing than 100 people's ninth favorite thing." To that I say, INDEED.
