I don't really Oscar it up. The barking of outfit bashing makes me puke and in all honesty, they just remind me of catering. Big parties, small parties, and the exclusive party 2 years ago where blah blah star gave me her used chicken skewer and I died a little.

But, I do enjoy Oscar moments. The real moments where true gratitude mixes with raw emotion and people just become people. A few years back a friend of mine won and I’ll never forget that look on his face when he heard his name. I was reminded of it tonight, when Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova won for 'Falling Slowly.' Ugh. For me, that sound track was an instant must get. An instant hit of a movie where no one needed to be pretty. And ironically were of the most pretty ever.

So tonight, as I was dozing in and out of sleep from a long opening weekend of the new Groundlings show, and the closing down of another little theater called The Empty Stage, I heard their voices melt together and de-thawed. Really de-thawed.

‘well you have suffered enough
and warred with yourself
it's time that you won.'

The best thing about falling out of inspiration, is the moment you fall back in.

I’m back in.

So whoever is still there. Hello.

I know about the yoga trend. I know about the relaxing in a steam room trend. But the doing yoga in a steam room naked while other people are just trying to relax or sweat out a few wine toxins trend? Ladies, come on!!!! Can’t you keep your weird breathing patterns and crotch shots to yourself? Fine, walk around the locker room tee-tons blazing on your cell phone. Okay. But don’t give me ass crack naked down dog. I’m not at a nudist gym. Nor at nudist Bikram yoga. And people, it’s not just one crazy divorcee doing it. There’s a trend. Please make it stop. Or fill me in on its purpose. Please!!!!
