away

It's October. I kinda can't believe it. Fall is by far my favorite time of year...back East and out here. The air gets a little crisp, the sky gets a little darker, and I always get a little more creative.

This is the final month of the glorious Sunday Company at the Groundlings. Again, I kinda can't believe that a year and a half has gone by. Actually counting the level before this, I have been writing sketches non-stop for 1 year and 9 months. Nuts! So much has changed personally during this time...life, death, renewing, reliving...changing. Definitely changing. Some for the good. Some for the someday good.

These past 10 days or so have been non-stop. Good non-stop. But pure non-stop. Writing, auditioning, meetings, performing. All awesome. Yesterday, aside from an ass-kicking spin class, I slept like 18 hours and caught up on Journeyman, Survivor, The Office, and The Life of Ryan. YES. The Life of Ryan. Do judge.

So now it's time to go away for the weekend. The ladies of the Sunday Company and I are getting away, for relaxation and fun. And nothing to do with sketches, wigs, or scene changes. Someone is bringing port. So you know I'm about to get real classy.

AND! I got a camera. My husband bought me a camera. WHAT? I haven't had one since college. Now I just gotta figure out how to load that shit onto my MAC.

Shit's about to get real, real classy.

Elbow and out.
