black monday
(I had another post in mind but had to respond to some earth shattering news).
INT – MY SOUL - NIGHT
Beep
Beep
Beep
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
Flatline
This is my soul.
It’s black.
And dead.
Why?
‘SHIVERING.’
Till January.
‘…SO COLD….SO COLD.’
What am I to do?
‘MOMMA? I’M COMING MOMMA.’
Where will I get MY fix of video blogs inside a car about nothing?
(Oh, P.S. Shane, the 90's called. They want their waffle-tee back).
Seriously, I’m depressed.
I can’t even make fun of Wil right now.
As his possible ‘Blog-Hag’ (good one Cherry Indigo), I just have to take a day off and grieve.
---I wonder if THAT will be on my tombstone?
"Loving Wife, Mother, and Blog-Hag"
SIGH.
---I would only be so lucky.
Oh Nickerblog. Goodbye sweet Nickerblog.
Nickerblog Nickerblog, boo bitty boo,
Rest in peace nerd diggity doo.
But know this…
As you ‘unplug’ yourself, I will be hacking my way into your encrypted mind with my multi vector assault mode and GHz GHB Built-in Boot ROM A DOM DOM . Oh, I’ll find you bitch. Hiding under the covers with a penlight trying desperately to reread Harry Potter or making out with your hand to pictures of Jessica Stover.
However, for now, I mourn.
Thank GOD I have this to look forward to.
Elbow, sob, sob, and Send.

"I'm just saying...NERD."
Uh Shane, don't you mean "FACE!"?
And with all this talk of TechNerds and ActingNerds, I don't know where I fit in. I now work in IT, but in Kindergarten, I pitched a fit until my teacher cast me in the school play of "The Wizard of Oz." The only role I could play (at 4 years old) was Toto. I crawled around that stage on my hands and knees, barked and begged for two performances.

Gosh, that sounds an awful lot like Annie when we're pitching new material to Travis.
Nailed. It.

Annie,
Have to cross post this from Wil's.
Wil,
This is a little off topic, but on for the bloggers:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/4484718.stm
This is about how bloggers are getting back at the media for plagarizing them.
All I can say for Annie is this, she secretly wants to be a nerd and a blogger. How else do you explain how good she is at it? She just needed an excuse to blame it on someone else. How else can you explain why she spends so much of her time WILLINGLY with two nerds? How else does she know your habits so well? Unless she is trying to be some sort of nerd zoologist and secretly studying nerds in their natural environments?
But I still hold to the theory she is a nerd in denial and "reluctantly" entering into the blog scene. Great work in outing her.
Annie,
Denial will not get you so far in life. Just accept it. You are crossing over. Embrace it. Speak the geek (code).

King Nerd Dicky Wil quoted me to slam Annie. I'm honored.
Shoulder and Enter...or something like that.

Annie, the blog is very cool so far; I hope you keep it up. Totally funny; it's interesting to have a counter-point to Wil and Shane's writing.
I went to a Bon Jovi concert a couple of years ago as my 30th birthday present. Very cool. Ironically to Wil's post, "Blaze of Glory" was the only song that I hoped they'd play that they didn't. I have now listened to "Raise Your Hands" live in concert, and can officially die happy.
Mudboy, I'm going to have to dis-agree with your pecking order. Granted, I haven't known many "music nerds", but I really do think that both theater nerds and tech nerds exceed the nerd-ness of music nerds. Granted, those who do music tend to be more obsessed with singular things, but I dont think that grants them a higher nerdness coefficient.
